Travelling Japan D4 [Hakone, Tokyo]

Decided to spend another half day in this little town, Hakone.
Woke up late, the husband took a soak in the outdoor onsen before we head out.
 Breakfast to fuel us up
Hakone Shrine (箱根神社, Hakone Jinja) stands at the foot of Mount Hakone along the shores of Lake Ashi. The shrine buildings are hidden in the dense forest, but are well advertised by its huge torii gates, one standing prominently in the lake and two others over the main street of Moto-Hakone.

Our slow walk up the hill, appreciating the tranquility moment.

Torii gate facing lake ashinoko.
Lake Ashinoko (芦ノ湖, Ashinoko) was formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone after the volcano's last eruption 3000 years ago. Today, the lake with Mount Fuji in the background is the symbol of Hakone.
 Peaceful little town

 Sightseeing boat

Coming back to Hakone Yumoto
Lunch at Hatsuhana はつ花 for one last time before leaving Hakone.

Chicken hot soba
Tempura cold soba
Ticket from Hakone to Shinjuku was included in "Hakone free pass" we purchased, journey took about 2 hours. Accidentally took the express romance car from Hakone to Odawara and we got chased out to normal car (next train) at Odawara station.
Checked into our Tokyo hotel, Agora Place Asakusa, a chic boutique hotel open last year.
Location of the hotel is excellent, only a min walk from train station exit.
 ipad available for rental.

Extra hotel amenities available for purchase
Wifi is equipped in every room. Room is clean and neat as they just took over and renovate last year.

Except the toilet that comes with bath tub, it looked old and the husband complain it has smell. We request for a change of room and they upgrade us to something better the next day (see hotel pictures from next day). Tip for those who are picking this hotel, do to ask for toilet without tubs for a pleasant stay.
We head to Aikihabara 秋葉原電気街, the otaku おたく town, only four train station away from our hotel.

 Cheong to buy Gundamyaki !

 人形焼 (‎にんぎょうやき)

 Mr brown from LINE

There are three major gyudon 牛丼 (beef rice) fast food chain in Japan, they are Matsuya 松屋, Sukiya and Yoshinoya. Dinner in Aikihabara was a quick one in Matsuya 松屋.

Half boiled egg, my extra order.
Black pepper grilled beef with curry.
More husband shopping in Aikihabara. His eyes glow when he saw those plastic models.
The husband's childhood favorite animation. I don't know who is this, we different era :p
Wanted to visit the popular @home maid cafe in Aikihabara for tea.
We went in, the manager approach us and ask if we are able to speak Japanese. The husband on the other hand keep mumbling to me that this is a place for lonely and lecherous guy to come and talk to girls, that is why you don't see any female customer around. I didn't know Maid cafe is meant for lonely guys only, this youtube video cheated me, the atmosphere there look totally different from video. Moreover no photos are allow inside to protect the girls identity, i was even warned for taking a picture of this door at the lift.
Husband's loots of the day. Some Gundam stand and Iphone5 cover even before he pick up his iphone5.
Shisedo hair oil treatment and the Kose eyeliner are some of my good buy.
  Cake for the cake monster.
How can one don't try Mont Blanc cake when one comes to Japan.
